The Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast
|
![]()
|
This is a first
floor room in The Lyon House, which is located a
couple of doors down from The Lighthouse. Built in
1910, The Lyon House has been in the same family
until now. We were able to purchase this Prairie
Style home from the granddaughter of the man who
built it, and some of their furniture is still in
the home. The queen bed in the Victoriana Room was
one of those that had been in Carolyn's family and
was still in the house when we bought it.
This room is decorated in greens, wines and pinks and has a queen bed with a private bath, a mantle with bookshelves, and a hook rug. A window decorated with flowers and curtains adds a special touch. The Victoriana Room is located just off the parlor and dining room. It is the most private of all the rooms in the Lyon House. |
![]() The mantle in the Victoriana Room is pictured here and the fireplace will soon feature gas logs, in addition to the shelves that are already in place around the corner. |
![]() The bed was in the Lyon family and was in an upstairs bedroom when we purchased the house. It is a perfect fit for the only Victorian room in The Lyon House. |
