This is a first floor room in The Lyon House,  which is located a couple of doors down from The Lighthouse.  Built in 1910, The Lyon House has been in the same family until now.   We were able to purchase this Prairie Style home from the granddaughter of the man who built it, and some of their furniture is still in the home.  The queen bed in the Porch Room is an old iron bed that has been in our family for a number of years.

This room, with its tub/shower bath, was created out of the front room of The Lyon House. The area was originally the front porch of the house.  It is the only room in all of our facilities that is accessible without going up steps.  So we are glad to be able to have a room that facilitates wheel chairs when that is a necessity.
